 Jay Anthony WillisJay Anthony Willis is an Edmonton-based songwriter and performer that successfully melds latin jazz, folk and blues into something all his own, along with children's songs, side-splitting burlesque-satirical pieces, and every once in awhile he writes solemn “occasional” music. Jay had self-developed his own website using tools from a major web portal vendor, but was dissatisfied with the complexity needed to maintain an up-to-date presence and keep in touch with his fans. As well, his options for the site's overall visual design was limited by the tools provided by the vendor. Jay's goal was to have a fresh design injected into his web presence with an inspired, hopeful look and feel. Jay's website presents news and information about himself as a singer-songwriter, a calendar of upcoming live performances, and a songbook including lyrics, images, and sound clips from his most popular tracks. Jay's new website communicates fundamentally the same information that was in his original website, but with a clear, engaging design and an easy to navigate layout. The new design has a professional polish that is fitting of the calibre of Jay's musicianship. To keep content fresh, Jay is able to log into a custom back-end to edit his articles, so there is always a reason for his fans and licensees to visit the site to see what's new in Jay's world.
