See my work, then think about how you would like to
communicate with greater clarity and effectiveness.

communicate

Having been involved in all types and sizes of enterprise, I understand the importance of consistency, currency, and clarity when communicating with one's market -- particularly through media like the web.

I invite you to take a moment to browse through my portfolio of recent projects, and to examine how these elements are reflected in the design and content of each site.

In particular, consider how your organization could benefit from presenting your message to your target audience with greater consistency, with the flexibilty to adapt easily in response to up-to-the-minute needs and circumstances.

Perhaps most importantly, consider what you could achieve if you were able to communicate on the web with greater clarity and effectiveness...

hulberts

hulbert's

hulbert’s is a comfortable neighborhood restaurant that is passionate about providing a community-oriented environment where one can sip, dine, and laugh with your friends and neighbours.

The goal was to create a site that was comfortable yet progressive in design, and that delivered all of the information relevant to the operation of restaurant, such as a calendar of its extensive live music events, podcasts, food and beverage menu, hours of operation and map, and news clips that are generated from reviews and hulbert's events.  The website also acts as an extensive information resource about the many local and touring musicians that perform on hulbert's live music stage, by providing pictures and profiles about the performers.

The website began as a basic brochure-style website, but it was easily evolved to meet the expanding needs of the business.  A easy-to-update calendar of events and artist profiles was added, as well as a menu with picture gallery, and podcasts of recorded live music sessions.  The website also now manages a weekly newsletter of upcoming hulbert's events and news.
