I have found the Jomsocial Search Plugin very useful on my site, but I wish it would display the user and group avatars when you search. I have been able to modify the plugin to suite my needs except I can't seem to figure out how to to get it to display the avatars. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Currently the search plugin isn't designed to return the avatars, but I think this feature could be added.

If you are in a hurry for this capability, email me privately and we can arrange a price to add this feature. Or, if you can wait a bit, I will investigate this situation further and add the feature to a future version.

It really depends on if I can pass back HTML from the search plugin and embed the appropriate IMG tags. Without looking in depth right now, I seem to recall that there is some HTML stripping going on at some point in the search component which would prevent this from working.

When I have a chance to look I'll let you know what I find out!
